From 2002 to 2013, the Group independently deployed and operated self-owned fleets, focusing on international timber breakbulk transport. We specialized in multi-purpose (MPP) vessel segments and formed exclusive operation systems for small-size timber carriers. Facing constraints of timber cargo stowage and complex route scheduling, our team developed proprietary solutions covering route planning, cargo stowage and refined voyage cost control. Meanwhile, we built a global port maintenance and seafarer coordination system, laying solid practical foundations for diversified fleet management and cross-border cooperation in later years.
In 2013, the Group reached a national-level strategic cooperation with the Strategic Development Fund under Brunei Ministry of Finance. We jointly funded holding entity Marzuq Holdings Limited and launched ASG (Amann Shipping Group Sdn Bhd), a state-level comprehensive shipping operation platform in Brunei. Supported by local preferential shipping policies of Brunei, ASG built a complete industrial matrix covering vessel management, liner service and cross-border commercial service, with three wholly-owned professional subsidiaries covering full shipping value chain:
Amann Ship Management Limited: Core vessel management division, responsible for fleet technical maintenance, global seafarer recruitment and full-cycle onboard supervision;
Amann Shipping Container Line Sdn Bhd: Local container liner operator based in Brunei, focusing on intra-ASEAN feeder transport;
Amann Shipping (Hong Kong) Limited: Hong Kong cross-border commercial platform coordinating global chartering, freight forwarding and asset transactions.
During more than ten years of government-enterprise joint operation, the Group deeply participated in national shipping construction of Brunei. We fully mastered maritime regulations of ASEAN nations, supervision rules for Brunei-flagged ships and port PSC inspection standards, accumulating scarce experience in local emergency response, cross-border seafarer rotation and asset trading. Vessels under our management maintained long-term cooperation with ADM, CMA, MSK and SITC. Later, the Group carried out strategic optimization of business segments: core ship management subsidiary Amann Ship Management Limited completed independent equity transfer, while all relevant experience and professional teams were fully retained by our Group.
After integrating the Brunei joint venture platform, the Group consolidated over 20 years of full-category fleet operation experience, senior unlimited trading sea shore-based teams and global service channels. In January 2026, we officially launched our exclusive vessel management brand — Go-Wide Ship Management Limited. It independently undertakes all external ship supervision business of the Group. Drawing on dual accumulation of timber multi-purpose carriers, bulk carriers and container fleets, it delivers professional, transparent and cost-effective integrated marine asset management services for internal group business and global shipowners.
